Greater Anár

Greater Anár is widely considered the seat of civilization for the continent, as it hosts the homelands of each of the major races. Taking over two millenia to develop, each race evolved from tribal structures, built powerful nations, and evolved into thriving civilizations. The more prominent are listed below:

The Red Empire: Developing for more than a millenia, the Red Empire was founded by the first Clans of Duar who banded together for their mutual benefit, evolving over time into a sprawling empire that controls not only the 1,000 long Homestead Mountain range, but also many smaller mountains and underground regions. The Empire is currently in an expantionist phase, and is thus in conflict with its neighbors.
The Horn Forest: The Horn Forest is the Kernuar ancestral lands, developing into a wide network of mutually cooperating extended tribes of Kernuar. Incorporating all of the species of Kernuar into its ranks, the Horn Forest is governed by a council that gives everyone a voice and hears all concerns by its citizens. The Horn Forest looks with concern on the Red Empire and has resisted the incursions of the Duar into its borders.
