Lessons of the World

The Duar recognize the most Incarna of the cultures of Anár and, throughout the history of their civilization, their understanding of the Incarna has grown. The Duar, as a race, believe that the Incarna are both their source and their partners toward their individual destinies.

The Duar do not worship the Incarna, in that, they do not believe that the Incarna require adulation or the submission of the spirits of the Duar to their ends. Instead, they view the Incarna as natural aspects of the world, personified and mighty, who are to be respected, heeded, and honored for their role in making the world function. By emulating the positive aspects and eschewing the negative aspects of each Incarna, do the Duar find their paths to their truest selves.

Division of Belief

The Duar believe in three major divisions of the Incarna, although they readily recognize that these divisions are based not on the Incarna themselves, but on the Duar who honor them. The Duar believe that all Incarna are equal in strength and importance, but, based on the lessons they can teach, some are heeded more than others.

Beyond the divisions, all Duar honor two Incarna without restrictions: Strâth and Ûndel. While technically classifed under the "Incarna of the Mont," Duar from all locales and all pursuits recognize them freely. The three division are:
